Louvain is the capital city of its province, “Vlaams-Brabant”. The river “Dyle” which runs through the city, is the main reason of existance of Louvain, that is known as a “student city” because of the presence of the famous university (KUL). The city has splendid architecture and is one of the nicest cities of Belgium.
