Squeezed between the rivers “Leie” and “Schelde”, Ghent is the capital of the province of Eastern Flanders. Parts of the town still give a medieval impression, as many houses have kept their original character over the centuries. Ghent counts numerous museums and has an extremely rich culture from different points of view. Each year, more and more visitors are being surprised when visiting this splendid city, of which the heart is totally car-free.
